Description

Multifibre DW

We weave our own Multifibre DW, inspecting every metre in order to ensure that you receive a high quality test fabric every time.

These fabrics are manufactured with the necessary composition in order to be compliant with the requirements of ISO 105 F10 and to be approved by many specifiers situated in both the UK and Europe.

They can be supplied in either rolls or as cut pieces depending on the quantity you require. American Multifibers, suitable for AATCC test methods, are different in both composition and construction. We stock the most commonly used variations.

Multifibre LW

The Multifibre is made up of different fibre strips of material, which are often used as the adjacent fabric in different colour fastness tests. Including the likes of colour fastness to washing, dry cleaning, water perspiration plus many others.

The fabric composition is compliant with the requirements of ISO 105 F10 and approved by Marks and Spencer, Next and many other UK and European specifiers. We supply two different types: Multifibre DW and Multifibre LW.

Multifibre LW, approved by Marks and Spencer has a similar composition to the traditional Multifibre DW, but the acetate strip has been replaced by a regenerated cellulose strip in contrast. This is due to it being considered more relevant to the fibres commonly found in current apparel fabrics.
